Product Introduction
Designed with the “IFA performance triangle” methodology, Inspur Yingxin NF5220 is a 2U dual-way server product. It adopts Intel® Xeon® processors of 5600 series, which improves the performance by 150%. Focusing on the balance between performance and cost, and on the practicability, it meets the any application requirements of most customer groups. For current applications characterized by intensive arrangement, distributed installation, compact space, concentrated heat radiating, continuous business, and effective management of servers, this model is improved by new design including enhanced body rigidity, providing radiator for major heating elements, providing ventilation for case and remote management.
Product Advantages
Using a Intel® Xeon® processor of 5600 series, the data transmission rate is high up to 6.4GT/S. With a 4-12MB 3-stage cache, it supports 64-bit expansion, I/O acceleration, Turbo and hyper-threading technique.
Compared with the previous generation, the system application performance of the product is improved by 2.25 times. With the up-to-date INTEL5500+ICH10R chipset, innovative mainboard VR circuit design and energy-saving 2.5” hard disk, the power consumption of the product decreases by 5-12% compared with the previous generation of product, and noise decreases by 4-5 dBs. It supports DPNM power supply management and becomes more energy-saving and environment-friendly. It uses DDR III memory and 8 memory slots; support DDR 3 800/1066/1333MHz memory; maximum expansion of memory up to 64GB; support 3-channel access; meet the performance requirement of customers and is more energy-saving. Support 8 pieces of 3.5” SAS/SATA or 12 pieces of 2.5” SAS/SATA/SSD hard disks, being compatible with hot-plug storage devices in a more flexible manner. Reliability: Improved strain radiator system and side ventilation design facilitate the control of airflow, which guarantees the heat radiating of CPU, memory and the whole system under 2U high expansion conditions. This improves the system reliability, effectively prolongs the service life of components and decreases cost. Key components including hard disks and power supplies support hot plugging redundancy.
Replacement and maintenance of components may be completed without system shutdown, improving the system availability. Integrate SATA 0, 1,10,5 and SAS RAID 0,1,10; optional Ibutton virtual hard disk RAID5; provide customers with multiple data protection schemes. Intelligence: Provide 3 PCI-E2.0 expansion slots; self-adapting optional components technology; support mainstream PCI-E; support multiple expansions of customers and reduce expansion cost.
Configured with standard integrated BMC intelligent control chips; support remote control abiding by IPMI2.0 codes; provide comprehensive management for remote servers; support remote operations, management and deployment system and application system; remote control of operating conditions of servers.
Inspur Yingxin Server Ruijie Kit contains the following 3 parts: Ruijie Server Management Package, Ruijie System Intelligent Installation Package, and Ruijie System Backup Recovery Package. The kit simplifies the maintenance and management of servers. It provides customers with functions of automatic installation, remote data backup and management. Flexibility: Integrated SATA and optional SAS, enables users to configure their systems depending on the business growth.
The product flexibility greatly improves and the switchover cost between different configurations decreases; Support 8 pieces of hot-plug SATA and SAS hard disks or, 12 pieces of 2.5” SAS/SATA/SSD hard disks. This meets the data storage requirement of different applications and provides future business growth with powerful data storage space.
